Cyclist seriously injured in hit-and-run collision in Sheffield

A cyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-run collision.

The man, aged in his 40s, was cycling along Hathersage Road, towards Sheffield, when he was involved in a collision with a dark coloured car at the junction with Long Line, Dore.

The vehicle failed to stop at the scene.

Emergency services were called to the incident at 6.40pm on Wednesday, April 29.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
