A crime scene remains under police guard this morning after a fatal stabbing in Sheffield on New Year’s Day.

Police officers have spent the night guarding a cordon in Norfolk Park after an 18-year-old man was knifed during a fight on St Aidan’s Road.

Emergency services, alerted to a fight on the street at 4.20am, found the seriously injured young man. He was taken to hospital but could not be saved and was pronounced dead a short time later.

Isaiah Edward Usen-Satchell was named as the murder victim by his heartbroken twin sister, Iman Anne Usen-Satchell, in an emotional Facebook post.

Three men, two aged 20 and one aged 20, were arrested on suspicion of murder and remained in police custody last night while detectives continued to piece together the circumstances surrounding the murder.

There is expected to be a heavy police presence in Norfolk Park for the rest of today.
