We've mapped the worst 11 streets for crime in Sheffield
The Star has analysed new crime data to reveal the Sheffield streets where you are most likely to become a victim of crime
Crime levels and how safe an area is are often key concerns when it comes to where we choose to live, shop and socialise.
With that in mind, The Star has broken down data from police.uk - the national policing website for England - to map out the worst streets in the city for different types of crime.
This article looks at the streets on which police have received the highest number of crime reports.
They are based on reports made in South Yorkshire Police’s four Sheffield policing districts: Sheffield North East; Sheffield Central and North West; Sheffield South East and Sheffield South West.
The police.uk data states that the crimes have been reported “on or near” a specific street or location.
The data is released with a two-month delay, meaning these are the most up-to-date figures available, which are for the period of May 2026.
