Courts: Round-up of some of the key cases heard this week across South Yorkshire

Offenders from across South Yorkshire and Sheffield are continuing to be dealt with at Sheffield crown and magistrates’ courts.

Cases here include a former student who has been jailed for dealing a variety of drugs, a defendant who was locked-up for producing cannabis and a dangerous driver who has was involved in a police pursuit.

Judges have imposed a range of sentences upon the defendants - including jail in some cases - after considering any mitigating circumstances.

In other cases, a serial burglar with eleven break-ins to his name has been jailed and two perverts have been brought to justice after they were snared by paedophile hunter groups.
