A CRIMINAL who posted a photo on Facebook showing him in court ended up back in the dock.
Ashley Bradbury took a picture of himself in front of the magistrates’ bench while they were out of the room deciding his sentence.
The 24-year-old then published it on Facebook, commenting he ‘laughed in the court’s face’.
The law bans the use of cameras within court buildings.
Bradbury was originally before Chesterfield Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, December 21 for failing to comply with a probation supervision order, when he was handed a curfew order instead.
The unemployed bricklayers’ labourer had a previous conviction for harassment and was jailed two years ago for domestic assault.
But he ended up back at court again a few weeks later when police found out about the photograph.
Bradbury, of Town End, Bolsover, admitted publishing a photograph taken in court and was fined £315 and ordered to pay £85 costs.
Katie Fowkes, mitigating, said: “It was a complete misjudgement.”
