Have your say

A PENSIONER had cash stolen after being tricked by a conman who called at her home claiming to be a water board official.

The 89-year-old was approached by the bogus official at her address on Annesley Road, Greenhill, Sheffield.

Police said the conman was white, aged in his 40s, around 5ft 8ins tall and had blond hair.

Detectives trying to track the bogus official down want to hear from anyone who saw him call at the pensioner’s house on Wednesday, December 21, or anyone who saw anybody acting suspiciously in the area.
