More than 60 cars, trucks, bikes and quads were involved in the procession through the city to Shiregreen Cemetery on Wednesday.

Mourners lined the route as Tyrone Forde, aged 22 and Jordan Caster, 19, made their final journey together.

The pair died in a horror crash on the M1 north of Sheffield earlier this month.

The car they were travelling in – a white Volkswagen Golf – left the carriageway, hit a barrier and a number of trees before overturning and landing on its roof.

Tyrone, who was a young dad, and Jordan were pronounced dead at the scene.

Multi-coloured flares were lit during the procession, horns were sounded and engines were revved.

Some bikers and riders of quads did wheelies during the procession.
