Cedar Road Stocksbridge: Emergency services called out over 'police incident'

Residents described several police cars on the scene at Cedar Road, earlier today, although some of the vehicles have now left the scene. Unconfirmed reports on social media suggest there was a stabbing.

Stagecoach buses diverted their 57a/57 services along Manchester Road between Stocksbridge library and Unsliven bridge/leisure centre due to a ‘police incident’. They are now serving Cedar Road again

South Yorkshire Police has been approached for information.
