CCTV image released following burglary in Sheffield

Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection to a burglary in the Wisewood area of Sheffield.

It is reported that on Wednesday 30 June between 4 pm and 4:30pm, a man gained entry to an address in Studfield Crescent and demanded the occupant, a 88-year old woman, hand over her purse. The man stole £200 in cash and fled the scene.Enquiries are ongoing, but officers now want to speak to the man in the CCTV image, as they believe he may hold information which could help them in their investigation.
