Car stolen at Meadowhall

Police in Sheffield are searching for a silver Mercedes car stolen from Meadowhall shopping centre.

The car was taken from the upper level of the yellow car park between 2.30pm and 3.08pm on Friday April 22.

Its owner Carly Sharples, of Lincoln, is standing as a prospective Conservative councillor for Saxilby in Lincolnshire in next month’s local elections, and was buying last minute Easter gifts when the keys were stolen from her bag.

Police and the Meadowhall security team are reviewing CCTV footage of the incident to identify the thief responsible.
