Hide AdA spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “It appears that there had been a mechanical failure with the car and it had rolled down a hill it had been parked on before coming to a stop in the garden.

“Nobody was hurt and no arrests were made.”
A picture from the scene shows a drop of several feet between street level and the garden. The car has since been removed but much of the garden’s fencing has been broken.
