Police have removed ‘a significant amount of drugs’ from the streets following a raid in South Yorkshire.

Officers seized cannabis plants worth no less than £35,000 when they searched a house in the Kingstone area of Barnsley.
A battering ram used to gain entrance left the front door completely removed from its hinges. It it not known if anyone was arrested following the raid.
A spokesperson said: “A result of fantastic intelligence and quick actions by my fantastic team.”
