Sheffield Crown Court heard on December 19 how Robert Evans, aged 35, of Thompson Close, Rawmarsh, Rotherham, pleaded guilty to producing the class B drug at his home.

Defence solicitor Andrew Walker told a previous Sheffield Magistrates’ Court hearing that Evans was subsequently in breach of a suspended prison sentence, previously imposed by Sheffield Crown Court.
