Police seized a staggering £250,000 worth of cannabis plants from a house in Sheffield during a drug raid.

Officers from the Walkley neighbourhood policing team made the discovery at an address in Hillsborough on Saturday.

As well as the plants, they found five kilogrammes of cannabis ready to be sold.

One man was arrested in connection with the incident.

Police also seized a Land Rover on Friday night and arrested two men after officers found a “significant quantity” of crack cocaine inside the car on Rivelin Valley Road.
