Burglars escape after being caught in Sheffield flat by jumping out of the window

At around 2.20pm, occupants of a first floor flat on Upperthorpe reported returning home to find two young males had gained entry to the property.

The burglars, both believed to be between 15 and 20 years old, immediately fled through a first floor window and allegedly left in a silver 4 x 4 vehicle.

A laptop and a Nintendo Switch are said to have been taken.
