A police manhunt has been launched to catch a convicted robber who has become the latest in a line of inmates to go missing from a Doncaster jail.
Members of the public who see Clinton Baldwin are being urged not to approach him but dial 999.
The 38-year-old absconded from HMP Hatfield at some point between 8pm yesterday and 8.30am this morning. Police have only just released details about his disappearance this evening.
Baldwin is described as white, around 6ft 4ins tall, of medium build, with blue/grey eyes and scars on the right side of his head and chin.
He is currently serving a sentence for robbery after being convicted in 2006.
Baldwin is the latest in a line of inmates to walk out of the prison in recent months prompting top level talks between prison chiefs and MPs over security at HMP Hatfield.
