BREAKING: Man named after fatal crash in Sheffield

A 51-year-old man who died following a collision in Sheffield has been named.

At 7.10pm on Tuesday, March 24 it is reported that a black Skoda Yeti and a pedestrian were involved in a collision on Beet Street in Netherthorpe.

The pedestrian, who has been named as Peter Broughton, was taken to hospital where he sadly died a few days later.

Following an appeal earlier this month to identify Mr Broughton, South Yorkshire Police are still keen to hear from witnesses, especially those with dashcam footage.

Mr Broughton’s family are now being supported by specially trained officers and have also appealed to the public for their help.

“Please, anyone with information will you come forward, Peter is sadly missed xxx”
