Boys aged 14 arrested on suspicion of burglary in Sheffield - as police seek owners of recovered jewellery

Police in Sheffield are seeking the owners of these rings which were recovered after two boys, aged 14, were arrested on suspicion of burglary.

South Yorkshire Police shared these photos of the jewellery which officers are trying to reunite with the owners.

The force said officers had arrested two boys, both aged 14, in Hillsborough on, Sunday, December 29.

The boys were found with the rings pictured and a Vauxhall car key in their possession, all of which police believe had been stolen in a burglary which took place between Saturday, December 28, and Sunday, December 29.

“Do you know who they might belong to? If you recognise the jewellery or if you have any information which might help us reunite the pieces with their rightful owner, please call 101 quoting incident number 147 of December 29,” said a spokesman for the police.
