Boy, aged 16, charged with raid at Sheffield petrol station

A boy aged 16 has been charged with robbery following a raid at a petrol station in Sheffield.

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is alleged to have held up the Total petrol station, Wordsworth Avenue, Parson Cross, at around 10.30pm last Saturday, January 18.

Liam Carnell, aged 19, of Nethershire Lane, Shiregreen, is also charged with robbery.

Police said the 16-year-old boy was also charged with possession of cannabis.
