Bowling ball thrown at man’s face in Sheffield

A man needed stitches after an attack in a bowling alley in Sheffield in which he had a ball thrown at his face.

Police said the 22-year-old was injured at Hollywood Bowl on the Valley Centertainment complex at 10pm on Tuesday, March 3.

Another man, also 22, was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released on bail pending further inquiries.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “Officers would like to speak to anyone who was at the bowling alley and witnessed the incident.”
