Mark Alan Bennett, 47, of Convent Walk, city centre, was found by police at Castle Square, Sheffield, after they responded to reports of a man preventing trams from moving away, according to a Sheffield Magistrates’ Court hearing.

Prosecuting solicitor Mark Hughes told the hearing on February 20 how police found Bennett banging on the window of a tram and preventing it from leaving and he had to be escorted away from the tram line.
