Sheffield Magistrates’ Court heard on December 19 how Jeffrey Jackson, 46, of Browning Road, Fox Hill, had been in charge of his Honda on Willis Road, Hillsborough, on December 1, after he had exceeded the alcohol limit.

Jackson admitted being in charge of a vehicle after exceeding the limit after he registered 54 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when the limit is 35 microgrammes. Magistrates fined Jackson £60, imposed £45 costs and a £32 victim surcharge. His licence was endorsed with ten points.
