Body of ‘rough sleeper’ found on busy Sheffield city centre street

Police officers were called to a health clinic in Sheffield following the discovery of a man’s body.

The body of the man, who has not yet been named, was discovered in Mulberry Street just before 7.30am yesterday.

South Yorkshire Police said officers were called to the Central Health Clinic in the street but no other details have yet been released.

The force said: “Emergency services were called to the Central Health Clinic on Mulberry Street in Sheffield at 7.27am yesterday following reports that a man had been found dead.

“The circumstances are not thought to be suspicious.”
