BMW stolen and vehicles broken into in Sheffield

Thieves have been targeting vehicles in southern Sheffield suburbs.

The Sheffield South East policing team reported several thefts and break-ins between Thursday and Friday.

A Black BMW X1 was stolen from Carr Vale Drive, Woodthorpe, between 5.45pm on Thursday and 6.45am on Friday.

A Ford Transit was broken into in Fishponds View, Woodthorpe, between 8.30pm on Thursday and 6.50am on Friday. Power tools were stolen, and police said there were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle.

Parts and power tools were taken from a vehicle parked in White Lane, Charnock, between 4am and 6am on Friday.

Thieves broke into a vehicle in Hollybank Drive between 10pm on Thursday and 7.45am on Friday. They stole power tools and sunglasses, and again there was no sign of forced entry.

Number plates were taken from a vehicle in Eastcroft Drive, Westfield, between 5.30pm and 7.30pm on Friday.

And someone got into a vehicle that police believe was accidentally left unlocked in Dalby Grove, Beighton, between 7pm on Monday and 6am today. Items inside were disturbed but it is not thought anything was stolen.
