Barnsley man wanted by police in connection with assault

A South Yorkshire man who also goes by the name of ‘Barnsley Bob’ is wanted by police for his alleged connection with an assault.

Carl Heseltine, 49, is also known to use aliases Carl Robert Morall, Carl Plant and goes by the nickname Barnsley Bob.

The 49-year-old is wanted by police for questioning in relation to an assault on January 1 in the Cudworth area of Barnsley.

Heseltine has severe scarring on his face, in particular his left and right cheekbones and also has a ring piercing in his left eyebrow.

He has numerous tattoos including ‘Barnsley Bob’ on his left forearm and ‘Owl and SWFC’ on his left shoulder, with the word ‘Liz’ tattooed on his right arm.

Heseltine also has links to Whitby.

Anyone who has information about the 49-year-old’s whereabouts should call police on 101, quoting incident number 219 of 1 January.
