Barnsley man is missing - but Sheffield boy has been found

Police in South Yorkshire are asking for the public’s help in finding a 41-year-old man reported missing from his home.

Marc Dyson, who is from Barnsley, vanished on Tuesday afternoon.

He had last been seen in Wheatcrofts, Barnsley, near the town centre.

Mr Dyson is 5ft 5ins tall, slim, with a shaved head.

He was last seen wearing blue canvas shoes, blue cut-off jeans, a long-sleeved top and a jacket.

Meanwhile a teenage boy reported missing from his home in Sheffield has been located ‘safe and well’.

Officers searching for Daniel Rodgers, aged 15, said he was last seen at his home in St Matthias Road, Deepcar, at around 10.45am on Thursday.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman confirmed yesterday: “A 15-year-old boy who was reported missing from his home in Deepcar has returned home safe and well.

“Daniel Rodgers returned just after 4pm yesterday.

“Police would like to thank the public for their support during the search for Daniel.”
