Attempted murder suspects released after double shooting in Sheffield

Three men arrested on suspicion of attempted murder have been released under investigation following a double shooting in Sheffield.

Two men who were taken to hospital following the incident in Darnall on Saturday, February 22 have now been discharged.

A group of men are believed by police to have entered a property on Shirland Place that evening and fired shots at two men who were known to them.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 10.09pm, and two men, aged 34 and 27, were taken to hospital.

Three men, aged 40, 32 and 25, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Darnall residents 'petrified' after two people shot

Police have appealed for any witnesses, including those who may have dash-cam footage which could help with the investigation.
