Attempted murder suspect released without charge after South Yorkshire shooting
A man who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a shooting in a South Yorkshire town has been released without charge.

Emergency services were called to Burman Road in Wath upon Dearne at around 8.05pm on Friday following reports that shots had been fired outside a supermarket.
A 29-year-old man was found with an injury to his back.
He was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
A 27-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson told The Star this morning: “The man arrested has been released without charge.
“Enquiries remain ongoing to identify the offender and officers remain in the area carrying out house-to-house and CCTV enquiries.”
