Between 7pm yesterday and 7am today, firefighters dealt with arson attacks in Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and Doncaster.

A bin was set alight on Alderson Close, Swallownest, Sheffield and in Rotherham crews dealt with a car torched on Abbey Lane, Slade Hooton and another fired on Morthern Road, Wickersley.

In Doncaster, rubbish was set alight on Campsall Road, Askern, and the blaze spread to trees.

A car was fired on Lauder Road, Bentley.

In Barnsley, rubbish was set on fire on Park Spring Road, Grimethorpe and a Range Rover was torched in Worsbrough Dale.

Firefighters also dealt with a fence fire on Howlett Drive, Brinsworth, Rotherham; a tree fire on Ecclesall Road South, Sheffield and a bin store fire at Danum Retail Park, Arkwright Road, Doncaster.

They were all started accidentally.

They dealt with a two-car collision on Bridge Street, Swinton, Rotherham.
