Arsonists spark numerous fires across Sheffield

They torched a Honda Civic in Gleadless Road, Gleadless, at 7.30pm.

Firefighters extinguished it within 30 minutes.

Parkway, Central and Birley station firefighters were then called out to Manor Park just before 8pm after yobs set fire to a bin store within a block of flats.

A wheelie bin was dragged into a children’s play area and set on fire over in Rotherham.

A crew from Maltby Fire Station was called to the scene in Sorby Way, Wickersley, at 8.15pm.

Arsonists also set fire to a skip in Oldmill Lane, Barnsley, at midnight.

Barnsley Central firefighters spent 20 minutes at the scene.
