Armed robbery ‘at knifepoint’ prompts police appeal

Police are investigating a reported armed robbery at a Sheffield convenience store.

Two men are thought to have entered Spar Parkhead on Ecclesall Road South on Tuesday, January 27 and threatened staff with a knife.

Police said it is thought one of the men had a knife at the time.

A quantity of money was taken during the incident and police are appealing for information.
