Armed robbers threatened customers with suspected firearm in Rotherham convenience store

Two men are reported to have threatened staff and shoppers inside a Premier Store in Rosegarth Avenue with a potential firearm at around 9.30pm yesterday evening. (Monday, December 14).
The suspected criminals then allegedly stole money from the till before forcing their way upstairs, where they helped themselves to more money and jewellery from an adjacent flat.

Hide AdCustomers and employees were left ‘understandably’ shaken according to officers.
Police have issued an appeal to find the pair who are both described as white and wearing dark clothing and balaclavas.
Anyone who was in the Rosegrath Avenue area last night who witnessed the men or captured them on CCTV or their dash cam should call police on 101, quoting incident number 944 of 14 December.
