Armed robber struck at apartments complex in Sheffield

A robber armed with a knife sneaked into a city centre apartments complex and threatened two women.

The man, who is being hunted by police, struck at the West One complex, off West Street, at 6.20pm on Monday.

He got into a communal flat where he threatened two occupants before stealing a haul of electrical items.

The robber as last seen heading from Cavendish Street, in the direction of Broomhall Street, holding a large black leather women’s handbag and a pillowcase with a black and white print pattern on it, which contained a number of stolen items.

He was spotty, in his twenties, around 6ft tall and of medium build.

He was wearing a grey hooded top and a black sleeveless body warmer.
