Appeal to find man who might have ‘important information’ after girls approached in South Yorkshire
Officers in Rotherham are asking for your help to identify a man who they want to speak to in connection to a number of incidents in the Maltby area.
On Wednesday 13 and Thursday, November 14, at about 3.30pm, a man is said to have approached two 12-year-old girls on High Street, Maltby, and tried to engage them in conversation.The man is reported to have made comments to make the girls feel uncomfortable, before leaving the area.The incidents are said to have occurred near to the Tesco store.A police spokesman said: “As enquiries continue, officers are asking for your help to identify the man pictured. They believe he could hold important information that could assist with the investigation.“Can you help? If you recognise the man, or have any concerns or information, please call 101 quoting incident number 297 of 15 November 2019.”
