Appeal after Sheffield hit and run leaves biker with serious leg injuries

Police in Sheffield are appealing for witnesses after a hit and run which left a biker with serious leg injuries.

The incident took place last night (Friday, August 7) at the junction of Foxhill Road and Lyminster Crescent around 9pm.

It is reported that a red scooter was travelling down Foxhill Road when a silver or grey Honda Accord sped out of Lyminster Crescent and collided with the motorbike.

The Honda then reportedly drive away from the scene without stopping leaving the rider with serious leg injuries.

Anyone who witnessed the actual collision or who has dashcam or mobile phone footage of the incident is asked to contact South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 1002 of August 7.
