Appeal after burglars steal cash, tip jars and charity boxes from South Yorkshire pub

Police have launched an appeal for information following a burglary at a South Yorkshire pub.

The incident happened at The Manvers Arms in the Adwick upon Dearne area of Doncaster on Thursday (December 5), say South Yorkshire Police.

At around 3am that morning, it’s believed that two unknown offenders gained access to the pub by removing a glass pane and frame from a side window.

The offenders are said to have taken £200 in cash from the till, plus further money from tip jars.

Two charity boxes are also alleged to have been stolen.
