Air ambulance takes off and Ecclesall Road closed following Hunter's Bar incident
An air ambulance has taken off from Endcliffe Park following an incident near Hunter’s Bar roundabout in Sheffield.

One witness said that a car had been involved in a collision, and when the driver attempted to flee they crashed into another vehicle.
A Police spokesperson said: “Police were called to Ecclesall Road, Sheffield shortly after 5.30pm today (19 September) to reports that a man was seriously injured.
“The man has been taken to hospital by air ambulance. The road is currently closed and officers remain in the area.”
