£300,000 of drugs found as police raid Sheffield home

A HUGE cannabis factory discovered on a Sheffield street has been discovered by police.

The sophisticated operation was found on Sharrow Street, Sharrow.

Police removed hundreds of plants with a street value of around £300,000.

Detective Inspector Bob Chapman, of South Yorkshire Police’s intelligence unit, warned cannabis growers that officers were targeting them.

“This is just the latest large scale seizure of skunk cannabis made in the city,” he said.
