Vehicles seized in Burngreave
Police seized 10 vehicles and handed out a number of traffic offence reports during a multi-agency day of action in a Sheffield neighbourhood.
Officers from Sheffield North East Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) joined forces with a range of partner agencies on Friday, July 17, for an operation in the Kilton Hill area of Burngreave.

The enforcement day focused on issues that residents have raised with police and forms part of wider efforts to tackle crime, nuisance and road-related offences in the area.
Alongside South Yorkshire Police, representatives from the DVLA, Health and Safety Executive (HSE), South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue, Environmental Health and Sheffield City Council took part in the operation.
By the end of the day, officers had seized 10 vehicles and issued six traffic offence reports, with police expecting further outcomes to follow as enquiries continue.
Inspector Alec Gibbons, of Sheffield North East Neighbourhood Policing Team, said the operation was driven by feedback from local people.

He said: "Operations like today's activity are centred around the concerns raised to us by our local communities and forms part of our ongoing partnership commitment in the wider Burngreave area.
"Thank you to our partners, including the DVLA, HSE, SYFR, Environmental Health, as well as teams from Sheffield City Council.
"So far we have seized ten vehicles and issued six traffic offence reports and will hopefully have more results to share next week."
Police said the activity is part of their ongoing work with partner organisations to address issues affecting Burngreave and improve safety for local residents.
