Crime spree across Sheffield suburb

A crime spree resulted in a number of homes and vehicles being damaged in a Sheffield suburb.

There were four crimes reported in the north eastern part of the city between the early hours of Thursday and the early hours of this morning.

Burglars caused damage to the front door of a home during an attempted break in at Hinde Street, Page Hall, between noon and 3.30pm yesterday.

Damage was also caused to a flat window in Margate Drive, Grimesthorpe, at 11am.

Arsonists torched a car in Winsford Road, Fox Hill, at 5am yesterday.

Paint was sprayed on a vehicle in Far View Road, Longley, at about 6am yesterday.
