Craig David sends important message to Sheffield crowd during Tramlines headline set

Craig David had the perfect tribute to Sheffield's Sarah Nulty during his headline performance at Tramlines last night.

The global pop star took to Hillsborough Park after De La Soul on Sunday night to play a sensational set to a packed crowd.

During his set of crowd-pleasing hits, David shared a special tribute to Sheffield's Sarah Nulty who died in July this year, aged 36.

Sarah was the director of Tramlines and helped launch the festival back in 2009 before being appointed directed four years later.

Following her death last month, the festival was dedicated to her memory with many artists and fans sporting the message 'Be More Nulty' on their shirts.

Craig David was one of the many stars to pay tribute to Sarah during his set; getting the crowd to help the sing the chorus to his song 'I Know You'

Before launching into the song, the music star told the crowd: "If it wasn't for Sarah Nulty this wouldn't be happening.

"We wouldn't all be here together, enjoying these moments and sharing these moments together.

"So, rest in peace Sarah. Let us all sing this one chorus together to send her off correctly.

"Let us celebrate these moments together because this is what life is about, all of us being here together and sharing these moments."
