Crackdown on illegal dumping

Have your say

A SCHEME has been launched to help tackle fly-tipping blighting a district in north Derbyshire.

Bolsover Council will publish a photograph and details of material dumped at a different site in the district each week on its website and on social networking sites, with the hope someone will have seen the incident or will know who the items belong to.

If anyone has seen the incident or recognises what has been dumped, then they can contact council officials on a confidential basis.

People will be able to complete an online fly-tipping form or call 01246 242424, stating the location and description of the incident.
