Sheffield stalker called and messaged ex 94 times in one hour - hacking Facebook and Apple accounts
Jake Abrahams even climbed through an upstairs window via a ladder
A dogged stalker called and messaged his harangued ex 94 times in one hour - “tracking” her where abouts by hacking Facebook and Apple accounts and using Vinted to badger her when he was blocked on other platforms.
Jake Abrahams, aged 31, even climbed through an upstairs window via a ladder to get into his former family home and in an ordeal that continued for “hours” he threatened to “murder” his ex if she started another relationship.

Joseph Bell, prosecuting, told Sheffield Crown Court that Abrahams and his victim had three children and had been together since the age of 15 - however in 2024 the defendant’s behaviour deteriorated due to drug and alcohol use.
When his partner ended the relationship in April this year he used various social media platforms as well as hacking accounts to pester his former partner.
Mr Bell said: “She began to arrange to move out of the family home and she was looking over her shoulder constantly.”
However after being charged by police and bailed to a location in Scotland, Abrahams continued the cyber campaign throughout July and August - saying he would “ruin” his ex and trying to call her 90 times in one day.
Mr Bell said on one occasion Abrahams sent the complainant 31 texts and called her 63 times in “one hour”.
Rebecca Tanner, defending, said her client had “spiralled” when the relationship ended and accepted his behaviour was “appalling”.
He was, said Ms Tanner, willing to accept psychological, medical and probation help to to prevent a future recurrence.
Abrahams, now of Simpson Court, Tillicoultry, Clackmannanshire, admitted controlling and coercive behaviour and stalking.
Judge Charles Thomas told Abrahams: “You were abusing your relationship with a partner you had been with for 15 years. The offences are so serious only immediate custody is appropriate punishment.”
He was jailed for 21 months
