These sex predators have all been before Sheffield judges and handed custodial sentences during the last few months of this year.
Some of them are hardened sex offenders known to have breached orders protecting the public from their perverse ways in the past.
In some cases they have raped children following online grooming, while others have been snared online by decoys posing as children and many have been caught with terrible images of child sexual abuse.
However all of them have been found a risk to children.
9. Snaith was jailed for two years and eight months
Convicted paedophile Snaith, 30, was tied by rules imposed by a judge around his internet and phone use, was found by supervising cops to have deleted dating and “encrypted” chat apps along with search history from an unregistered phone. He was caught red-handed during a routine visit from officers while living with his girlfriend on November 6 last year. A judge told Snaith he posed a “high risk of serious harm” to children and he could not be managed in the community. Snaith, formerly of Rosso Close, Belle Vue, Doncaster, was jailed for two years and eight months. He admitted breaching a sexual harm prevention order. | SYP
10. Christoper Dixon
“Committed and dangerous” South Yorkshire paedophile Dixon offered payment to rape an 11-year-old girl. Dixon, 68, told an undercover police officer he believed to be the fictitious child’s aunt he would travel from his Doncaster home to London and stay in a hotel for the underaged sex.
