Drug dealer caught selling heroin in Rotherham only two months after being convicted for carrying a knife
He was found with 36 wraps of heroin and around £220 worth of cocaine
A drug dealer was caught trying to sell heroin only two months after receiving a community order for possessing a blade.
“You are 23 years old now, as you were indeed when we met in Grimsby last November,” Judge Caroline Sellars said to Levi Bulmer as he was brought before Sheffield Crown Court on Tuesday, May 5.

Bulmer had previously been convicted for possessing a bladed article in Grimsby, back in November 2025.
Recalling his previous conviction - which resulted in the passing of a community order - Judge Sellars said: “I remember clearly discussing with your advocate on that occasion what extra support you may benefit from.”
She explained that a community order was passed, and Bulmer subsequently returned to his hometown of Rotherham where he ‘immediately’ became homeless.
The court was told that this left him falling in what the judge described as the ‘wrong company’ and he was soon pressured into dealing drugs to pay off past debts.
On January 26, Bulmer was arrested in Rotherham and found to be in possession of 36 wraps of heroin, and around £220 of cocaine.
He was also in possession of a sum of cash, and a folding ‘lock knife’.
The court was told of a number of mitigating features, including his guilty plea and what was described as a difficult childhood, with Judge Sellars saying that Bulmer was left to ‘fend for himself’ from the age of 16.
“I have no doubt that you are vulnerable,” she continued.
“That is significant mitigation which I take into account when sentencing you today.”
Ultimately, the 23-year-old was sentenced to 21 months’ imprisonment.
“[I hope] your time in custody will be used to engage with Shelter and other services to find accommodation once you are released,” the judge said as Bulmer was sent away.
