The following were convicted at Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster and Chesterfield magistrates’ courts between January 2 and 5.

Sheffield

Stewart Anthony Brown: aged 38, of Serlby House, St James Street, Town Centre, Doncaster, drunk and disorderly, £50 fine, £75 costs.

Sonia Burgess: aged 47, of Coleridge Road, High Melton, Rotherham, drink driving, community order, rehabilitation activity requirement, £170 costs, disqualified from obtaining a driving licence for two years.

Mehvish Akram: aged 24, of Dkyewood Drive, Wadsley, theft, community order, drug rehabilitation requirement, £99.99 compensation.

Jonathan Edward Messenger: aged 37, of Victoria Street, Broomhall, criminal damage, discharged conditionally for 12 months, £30 costs.

Andrew McCreadie: aged 39, of Didcot Close, Grangewood, Chesterfield, using abusive language or behaviour to cause alarm and distress in a racially aggravated incident, theft, failed to comply with supervision requirements following a period in prison, carrying a lock knife in a public place without lawful authority, eight weeks in prison, £30 compensation, order for the destruction of the lock knife.

Paige Nicole Mellor: aged 21, of Halfway Gardens, Halfway, criminal damage, assault, community order, curfew requirement with electronic monitoring, rehabilitation activity requirement, £140 compensation.

David Stephen Clarke: aged 61, of Imfirmary Road, Kelvin, theft, committed a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge, community order, curfew requirement with electronic monitoring, £85 costs, £10 compensation.

Joshua Zack Hill: aged 22, of Marshgate, Town Centre, assaulted a person causing actual bodily harm, 13 weeks in prison, £115 costs.
