Philip Smithyman: aged 58, of Morrison Avenue, Maltby, Rotherham, caused unnecessary suffering to protected animals, two Dogue de Bordeaux dogs, by subjecting them to an environment which was detrimental to their wellbeing, did not make sure that the needs of the dogs were met, discharged conditionally for 24 months, £220 costs, order made under the Animal Welfare Act 2006 to deprive the defendant of keeping the dogs, disqualified from keeping, or caring for, animals for two years under the Animal Welfare Act 2006.
