Council's thrifty workers recognised
STAFF at Barnsley Council's Property and Procurement Department have won an award for careful spending.
The authority is one of just six in the country to receive the excellence award, from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply, which recognises the council’s approach to buying goods.
