Council's new phallic symbol
Well I see that the phallic symbol has arrived in the city centre, and the council are still insisting that it will increase footfall into the city.
Ask yourself, would you visit the city just to spend £4-£6 on a thrill that lasts only four minutes, not taking into account the time you will have to queue?
While on the subject of our illustrious council, in the latter part of last year they said, by March this year we would be told which developer had been chosen to regenerate the retail quarter, so here we are middle of March and no nearer to being told.
It’s about time the council came clean and told the residents of Sheffield the truth. The only thing going up is the phallic symbol, I shan’t be holding my breath before we get answers.
