Leading children's charity Barnardo's is asking people in Sheffield, Wakefield and Leeds to become Independent Visitors.
IVs befriend young people, up to 21, who are in care, and are specially trained to provide emotional support and friendship, independent of statutory services. Barnardo’s are asking for time and commitment from IVs, so they can establish a good relationship with the young person they’re matched with. Call IV Co-ordinator Kate on 01977 552493.
